Restricted Countries

f8 Capital cannot be offered everywhere. Some restrictions come from sanctions, some from the rules that govern who may be offered contracts for difference, and some are our own policy. This page always shows the list in force right now.
The list
No account means you cannot sign up or hold any account from that country. No CFD programs means CFD challenges are refused at checkout while futures programs stay available.
How it is applied
- At the network level. If your connection appears to come from a fully restricted country, we redirect you to a notice instead of the sign-up flow. This is a soft check: connections can be misattributed, and it is not the check that decides your eligibility.
- At onboarding. You declare your country of residence. A fully restricted country stops the sign-up there. This is the binding check.
- At checkout. A program restricted for your declared country is refused, with the reason shown.
- At payout. The country on your verified identity document must be an allowed country and must match the country you declared. A mismatch stops the payout and goes to review.
Declaring a country you do not live in, or using a VPN to get around a restriction, is a material breach of the Terms and grounds for closing every account you hold without a refund.
Occupied and disputed regions
Occupied regions — for example Crimea, and the Donetsk and Luhansk regions — are not separate countries and so do not appear in the table above. They are screened during identity verification using the address and document data the verification provider returns.
If you move
Tell us through support before you trade again. Moving into a restricted country means we have to close your accounts; moving out of one does not automatically restore access, because the verified identity has to be brought up to date first.
Changes
Sanctions lists change. We update this page when they do, and the version and date at the top identify the list in force. A change can take effect immediately where the law requires it.
